Wow, the PSP is worse than the Gamegear, good heavens.

Statements like this makes me think that I was the only person on this site whom actually owned a GG...

I owned one, it sucked batteries so bad, we only ever used the power cord

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Unfortunatly the portability of that thing was close to 0...

I had a game gear too! That thing ripped through 6 AA batteries like nobody's business! The power cord was essential! The screen did look great though (compared to the Gameboy - the original fat one). My gf's PSP also gets pretty bad battery life. I'm surprised at how fast it burns through it. Reminds me of the good old days of portable gaming

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

Good news for all prospective PSP owners.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

On the subject of the GameGear, when I was a kid, someone brought his GG out to recess. He popped in some new batteries and started playing Sonic.

The thing died before we went back inside.

No matter how bad the PSP's battery life may be, it will never touch the GG or the Nomad.

@LordTheNightKnight: You know, DS and PSP are techwise same generation, they both have pretty similar ARM-processors inside, only that PSP have higher specced processors.
Specswise speaking of course, the difference is a little similar than with N64 and PS2 (or DC).

I wrote "basing on", not that it actually was two gens behind.
