Forums - General - You Guys Wanna See my New Apartment!

Thanks for all the positive comments, guys. I definitely put a fair amount of work getting it all together. I had a whole bunch of decorations for awhile, with almost no furniture, which was kind of bizarre.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Very nice, mind saying how much it costs?

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Not bad, looks A LOT bigger than my tiny little room here in the college residence...! o_o

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Sweet digs.

But it looks like somebody left an Andy Warhol book on the table. You should get rid of that before somebody accidentally opens that filth.

"Unfortunately, I don't have the money right now to get a new TV, but I have a small one in my room."

Now that you have your own place, ALL the rooms are yours.

VERY nice. Congratulations on your new place.

LP's on the wall + frames = roughly $100-$150

Desk = $225-275 roughly

Framed paintings/other (5 in total, 2 not pictured) = $175

Stone/pseudo-stone hangings (the 3 in a group) = $225 roughly

Sofa = $150 + $40 slip cover

End tables and coffe table = $150

TV Stand (not pictured) = $225 roughly

Dining Room table + chairs = $65 (Flea markets are awesome)

Monkeys (3) = $70

Greek urns and other table decorations = $325 roughly

Coffe table books = $125 roughly all together

I am not including stuff in the kitchen or in my bedroom.

Rough total = $1925

Pretty good considering that includes just about everything in the living room including all decorations and furniture except the office chair.
