Have fun buying a new Wii next year.

why would he buy a new wii next year? if anything he'd buy a PS3 because:

1. Price Drop by then

2. He's buying a HDTV he says

3. Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Resident Evil 5, Final Fantasy 13, etc.

4. Blu Ray Movies :)

Benefits to re-buying a wii next year:

1. Another Mario Sequel

Not trying to say any game is better than the other but you realize you only listed sequels right?

hahahahha That was such a good come back made me laugh hard :D  Nice one Twesterm

Ehh, I haven't seen anything coming up that makes me want to keep it.

Honestly, I tried really hard to love the Wii, but all the shovelware and shitty games killed it for me.

After I bought my Ps3 and 360 it just ended up sitting on the shelf collecting dust for a month at a time, litteraly.

I must have missed the part about owning a Wii where someone holds a gun to your head and forces you to buy/play shovelware.

 QFT.

Didn't you know?

The Wii invented shovelware.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Why would you sell the Wii and you are currently the owner of all three current platforms?

That absolutely makes no sense, but it collects dust and all according to you. So you can do what you want...its just strange your making this decision, considering the wealth of Wii titles that will soon be released.

Some people aren't meant to be all three console owners! My question is, why do people make threads about selling and buying stuff? Unless it is a sale that would benefit everyone.

dude, wait for Christmas, you could get thousands for your Wii. lol

This is among the best advice given so far. When you are ready, check out Walmart's Soyo/Privé line of LCDs. I bought a 26 inch 1366 X 768 that accepts 480p/i, 720p 1080i/p for 450$ last year. It is cheaper now. It's not great for watching SDTV, but when hooked up to a high quality source material, it looks great. I'm trully satisfied. I'm not sure if they are available in the USA or under what name they might be, but I would recommend it to anyone. Worst to worst, Walmart's return policy would allow you to try it out at home and return it if you want.

Think this is a fair price? I'm going to use the money to buy a small HDTV just for gaming and some baby stuff.

Wait.... isn't that the Wii?

It finally sold. :)

Headed over to my local Wal-Mart and picked this baby up: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9106630

enjoy, and best wishes for the baby - what did you get for the baby? :P

Money. They go for quite a bit if you find the right person to sell them to.
