How were the controls for Mirror's Edge? How long did you play it and did you get a good grip on the game?
I hear it will be hard to master ;)

Mirror's Edge was very loose.  Thats the best way to describe it.  There is a floatiness and a feeling of being "free".  Its a good sensation.  Also, it worked EXTREMELY well on the PS3 controller.

Sweet, I had a slight worry about this, but they were only so big, that you have now put them to rest

The conduit, your surprise hit, how were the lines for it?

and -despite you being a "traditional" controller person, did you find this build to be extremely well done & solid- as in most "core" gamers that have a wii and like FPS games will/should buy it?

This is one of the best threads I've seen in a while.  It provided a ton of information and asside from a few claims of bias, the discussion has been pretty civil.  Thanks TP.

The lines weren't really long.  It went largely ignored.  It was upsetting.  However, the game plays and feels great.  You will not be disappointed.

Glad to see that all the games that I were mainly looking forward to are all looking great so far. Thanks for this awesome read.

Did you play any other Tales games? From everyone who gave impressions of the game, no one said the battle system was wonky. Maybe you're just not used to it. A feeling like that seems common until you actually get used to it after a bit when it comes to Tales games. Minor problem. It's basically an enhanced version of Abyss's battle system so if you played Abyss you shouldn't feel anything like that.

As for the graphics, who was going to buy this game for the graphics? Nobody buys Tales for graphics. We buy Tales games for the story, characters, etc. and people who gave impressions said the story was good and characters also good so tht's really what matters.

Soriku, this is all I'll say.  When you actually have the controller, in YOUR hands, and you play the game-  you can judge for yourself.  Please don't question my Tales knowledge.   I have played many of the Tales games, but only finished three of them (Destiny, Symphonia, Abyss).

If your doubting my opinion, that is fine.  Go read the reviews / previews for the title, and formulate your own.  Do not attack my opinion.  That is something that will really irritate me.   We all know your excited about the title, but face it, I did not appreciate it.  Listen carefully- On the show floor, I did not enjoy Tales of Symphonia on the Wii. Not only me, but two other guys who were with me felt the same way.  Its a bitter pill to swallow, but you might as well face it, I have a different opinion.  Thanks.  /rant

Your a cool guy, but don't try forcing your opinion on me when you have zero hands on with the game.  I don't care what you read or what some other guy wrote.

I never attacked your opinion. I'm saying the general opinion isn't the same as yours.

Soriku, its obvious your defensive about the title.  If you want to research hands on impressions from people who have beat it, go look at the Neogaf threads dedicated to the game.  There are alot of people who speak Japanese in those threads who have completed the game.

Thanks for the thread enjoyed it!

Also, people have said in the thread that the controls were comfortable and easy to use.

SORIKU THIS IS MY OPINON. Stop arguing.  You sound like a 13 year old.  I'm not going to pretend to like something when I don't.  Its really tacky to barge into my thread and tell me what other people think.
