Please whatever Nintendo makes is well tested on the Wii for the casuals. I've used the eye toy and it was a piece of shit. I had much more fun playing on the Wii then having the stand infront of the god damned eye toy. The thing wasn't even guaranteed to work nearly as good as the Wii did.

It's basically saying this,

MS - Hardcore, tries to be casual and fails
Nintendo - Casual, very little hard Core

SONY - HardCore, still maintains success in the casual market at the same time, that's why he is saying they are king.

OT: SONY king of Casuals, because of the ps2.... not the ps3.... the Wii is the king this GEN IMO...

A year from now SONY = CasualCore ^_^

Whichever console is winning is probably king of the casuals. PS2 was with games like Guitar Hero and Eyetoy and what not.. but Wii stomps PS3 when it comes to casual games.

not many games use the eye toy yet, a few small demos, and that magic-like card game, but that one works nicely.

Before I went to the trouble of embarrasing myself with wholesale plagerism I would have also noticed that the original article got the same reaction.

Sony has done a better job in Europe in reaching a wider audience.
That being said, the current price point of the PS3 has many of those people who bought PS2s keeping their PS2s or looking in another direction.
To be honest, you can make a better case for the Xbox 360 and casuals (Viva Pinata) than you can the PS3.
