I like sackboy, but it's a shame Toro never got a chance. Always hated Crash.

People Choose the mascot. Not the company. Sega decided that it's mascot was going to be Alex Kidd at one time. People didn't like Alex Kidd but they sure liked Sonic the Hedgehog.

OT I just can't get past the name Sackboy. It's horrible regardless of how good or bad his game is.

I like the idea. The thing is, as with Kratos, they can have a 'sackboy' for any character they want to feature.

Also, he's a lot more appealing to the broad market they've lost so far this gen than any gun toting muscleman - that's an image 360 already has and I suspect Sony would rather have an image something like this instead.

why would they make their mascot snake? oh yes lets make our mascot a multiplatform third party character whose a character in one of the wiis best games

no offense to Sony fans, but when I think "Sony", sackboy dos not come to mind. maybe when there is sackboy tennis, sackboykart and sackboy at the olympics we'll talk.
