 It will be a huge step down from the Crash franchises accumilated sales. Crash was alot of fun.

Crash was absolutely amazing. Then it got ruined.

 Sony has had too many games with far more interesting characters in its time. Nintendo did the right job with the NES by having the first game EVER be Mario/Duck hunt. Same for Sega with Sonic. Sony started out with Crash and dropped him when the franchise has sold more than 20 M.

While I doubt LBP will be as big as Sony hopes, what's wrong with Sackboy? He's adorable, he's starring in a game that looks like it's quality, and you can stick him anywhere without alienating too many folks. Isn't the latter the job of a mascot?

Kratos would really turn off parents of younger children who want a PS3, but while Mario and Sonic looked all charming/cute/etc. when they had to rbing it on they definitely could, again, one can shoto fire with his hands the other can go super saiyan. That redeems both their images to the gamers. Meanwhile I don't see sack boy being able to dole out anything other than jumping, walking, and falling like a sack of potatoes (sorry I couldn't resist).
