Sex games.

Not that they're particularly interesting but they're complete shit compared to real games.

Epic should make a hundred million dollar sex game starring Marcus Fenix.

I'd play that shit.

As in go buy us some coffee.

Side-scrolling shooters. I know we get castlevanias pretty regularly, but i feel its about time we saw Kid Icarus or Metroid again

2D Platformers.

There's still innovation and creativity left in this genre, as seen by Braid and numerous handheld titles. When it comes to this genre on consoles, you think of PSN, WiiWare, and Live Arcade. If you give it a chance beyond digital distribution, you might see the genre shine.

I could see that as a gay military-romance H-game. Call it, "Queers of War."

Seriously, though: I want to see more "art-house" games. As in, more games in the style of Braid, Killer7, Oddworld, Rez, Silent Hill, and so on. We only get one or two good games from that "genre" a year, and it saddens me.

EDIT: Survival horror - or just "horror games" in general - would be my second choice, though. We also only get a couple good ones a year. Like, this year we'll have Condemned 2, Fatal Frame IV, and maybe Silent Hill: Homecoming (though I'm not holding my breath for that one being any good), while publishers crap out shooters and action games like there's no tomorrow.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Survival horror. Not enough good ones out there, and there's plenty of room.

Old-school FPS. I had a bucket of fun playing the original Serious Sam, but apparently now every FPS has to be a clone of Halo.

Bring back games where the only point was to fire ridiculously powerful weapons at ridiculously large hordes of bad guys!

Also, The Conduit is going to be HUGE!

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
