At $150 (Or pounds, euros, seashells equivilant) which would you be more inclined to purchase?

The Wii reach $150 quicker. They haven't dropped the price yet, and production costs for the system are only around $180. They've already made hand over fist.

360 easy.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

360. It has to remain competitive.

You're all being extremely foolish to believe that the arcade will make it to 150 before the Wii. They could drop the price $100 and still continue making profit based on first party game sales/accessories and more.

360, & when it gets there, I'm buying one!

Nintendo could drop the price to $150 today I'm sure, but why would they? Why give up $100 per unit when they will likely be sold out this Christmas at the current price? Interest in the Wii is still very high, Xbox meanwhile sees interest rise a little every time they cut the price, then fall off.

Further if you look at Nintendo's previous consoles and handhelds you will see they just don't play the price cut derby the way the others do. Nintendo will likely keep it at the original price for a long time, then make price cut halfway through the console's life. In some cases they make a second price cut near the end of life.

I think you will see Xbox 360s for $150 by summer 2009, and Wiis at that price not till 2010.

360 without a doubt. Even if Wii sales miraculously SLOW DOWN, they can cut the price to $199 and go right back to where they are today for another 1-2 years.

Nintendo would be dumb as **** to drop the price of the Wii. It is still managing to sell like hot cakes.

Let me know when I can get a 360 for 50 bucks, hell I would even go 60. Until then, not worth it! By 2010 I doubt I would even pay $30.
