I would bet that gears 3 would if they aren't required to go MS. If you read a lot of the comments from the Epic guys there is no great love of MS, in fact most of them seem to prefer the PC and PS3 for its guaranteed hard drive, more open format, better power, ect. When they were talking about adding PC levels to GOW1 that the 360 couldn't handle or talking about how much better the PS3 was for UT3 I didn't exactly see a MS fanboy company.

Really among devs the only full on MS fanboy company I can think of is Valve with their love of the 360 and PC. Of course Gabe was a MS employee for over 10 years before starting Valve but I'm positive that has NOTHING to do with his MS love he yells as loud as he can at every opportunity.

In an interview not long before E3 someone asked cliffy b about the possibility of gears 3 been multiplatform, he pretty much said that the gears trilogy is locked down to microsoft, gears 3 on ps3? not a chance

Good lord. First off, there's no guarantee at all that Gears 3 will go multi-platform.

Secondly, this crap is starting to get out of hand. Pretty soon, there won't be any reason to prefer an X360 or PS3 since they'll end up sharing 99% of their games.

Whatever happened to consoles having large collections of sweet exclusive titles? You know, the things that make a console memorable and give it personality. The Xbox360 still has a reasonably high number of exclusives, but seriously. Are development costs really that bad these days?

hahahahaha. I'm sure that Microsoft will do their absolute best to keep it as an exclusive. Then again, having a GOW on the PS3 would seem.....weird. To me anyways.

While I think Gears3 will be 360 exclusive, I'll point out that what you just said is bulls%!t . Reports have the Microsoft/Gears deal at 2 games (N'gai/patcher reported), that interview you're mentioning never existed. You might be confused with MassEffect and what Bioware said before they became EA.
