i dont think ps3 owners would care that much,i wouldn't.gears is pretty much embedded in the xbox name

today exclusivety it's a shallow word.

If Gears 3 is on the 360, it will already have a huge install base. Gears 2 will not come to the pc like Gears 1,and it will sale great,guaranteed more copies than 1.
So i don`t think that Gears 3 will not be 360 exclusive.

I think there's a much better chance of Final Fantasy Versus 13, Tekken 6, and well almost every third party PS3 exclusive going to 360 than Gears of War 3 going to PS3.

Unlikely, but not impossible.

Gears of War 2 will sell very, very well (7-8m I think). That would give Epic enough of a financial incentive to stick with the MS machine...Especially since they haven't had much work on the PS3.

I'd agree there is a laundry list of other games X360 exclusive, and PS3 exclusive games, that have a higher probability of going multi-plat than Gears at the moment.

And could you name why MS shouldn't roll over the contract with Epic?

• Gears of War sold well
• Gears of War2 will sell well
• Gears of War as a franchise is connected with the Xbox
• MS benefits with a great exclusive game, which will definately be a system-seller next generation

It is a win/win situation I think. But who knows if GoW3 will be released on the Xbox360. I think this might come out for the next generation, Xbox3

Any proof that the agreement is only for 2 games?

Doubtful, a couple months after GoW2 hits we'll here an announcement/rumor that GoW3 is under production as a 360 exclusive.

Think Microsoft will do anything to keep it exclusvie.
