GTAIV is not a good comparison because Japan is pretty much irrelevant there
By the time FFXIII gets released, the PS3 will have a closer install base to the 360 in North America and widen the gap in Europe.
The PS3 will win because of Japan, but mot people are predicting 3 to 1 sales in the PS3's favor worlwide, and I just doubt that's gonna be the case, even if the PS3 has a userbase advantage.

FF gets a big percentage of its sales ion Japan historically. 360 can only get sales from 2 regions (US & Others) while PS3 gets sales from 3 (US, Others & Japan).
It's not going to happen.

I think in a prediction thread, mine was 5.5M for the PS3 and 3 Million for the 360 = 8.5 Million total
but a lot can change between now and its non-simultaneous Worldwide 2009 Release (hopefully)
