"RPGs are one of the most complex game types there are," added Molyneux. "But for me, the idea of being who I want to be and my character being different to yours, well, I think is one of the coolest genres of game."

I completely agree with that statement. I liked Fable. If this is better, then I'll likely love it. I already pre-ordered, just like I did with Fable.

But Fable 2 does look to be different, and as far as his track record goes Fable was definately very good just not great.

Far better than B&W 1 and 2 and his other stuff...I just don't like the guy to be honest he seems a bit of a gimp and way too media shy.

 

Only reason he seems media shy is because somebody finally told him to shut up and stop making stupid promises.

I do agree that the man's concepts in some occassions overwhelmed some of his games ability to provide fun but when he nails it he delivers. In spades.

this game seems like it is going to be good but we do not need this arrogant pig ranting on about how his game is the best thing aver to grace the earth. god i hat devs like that. He should just shut up and let us enjoy the game. a first day get for me by the way.

 Hey, at least he's being real when people have rated GTA IV a 10 when it wasn't and MGS4 when it wasn't either. It's good to hear some truth these days. We will rate the game for our selves now.

 

 If Halo 3 actually managed to get 10/10s from some reviewers then MGS4 definetly deserved some 10/10s.

GTA4 on the other hand....

The Halo franchise has standards of its own as opposed to the rest of the FPS genre. The game is just different. Hideo Kojima wouldn't have agreed with you on the 10/10. If he felt he made a 10/10 game he would've bowed out, but he cannot. GTA is the same story.

I want to believe he is telling the truth but I highly doubt it. He said similar praises of FABLE 1 which was terrible in my book. I want it to succeed so I can have 2 reasons to get a 360 (THis and Mass Effect) yet the way things are going I will just settle for Mass Effect on PC instead.

I doubt MGS4 will still have 700,000 people playing daily a year after it comes out.

Exactly, Halo 3 is still huge. I don't care if it feels like a Halo 2.5. The game has millions of people hooked and they are still hooked today. It's still one of the top games on Xbox Live. Luckily for us Bungie is adding more levels and stuff to the game so it keeps it fresh, for when even more people buy Xbox 360's at the holiday season and buy Halo 3.

so.. the developer of the game said it was good... right.. so did the developers of haze .. infact they didn't even understand why it got so low scores..

When there are still people playing the game a year after release, they must be incredibly entertained by it.  And isn't that what games are for? Entertainment.  Shouldn't that be the measure of quality of a game?  Quality is a completely relative term, some people find Spears and 50 Cent music quality.  Who is one person to dictate what is and is not quality?
