Forums - Sony - EA: Why no love for PS3?

I don't understand why on one end Electronic Arts is all in love with PS3 talking about how much money PS3 makes them and how they predicted PS3 outselling X-Box in 08. So why is it that they give so much more love to Microsoft (Crysis, Mass Effect)?

Moneyhat or somthing else? The X-Box factor?

Probably because most of the games ended up having more of a base on the 360. Ever questioned that? I don't see why for the sake of making money EA wouldn't make exclusive 360 games multiplat though. They've been praising PS3 and doing that forever.

I would venture that PS3 owners would enjoy Mass Effect.

Mass Effect wasn't developed or published by EA was it? They bought Bioware after its release. Also Crysis is a PC game. What do you want them to do, make it exclusive to Mac?

Billy D is back!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

i think Criterion Games are the only one how realy love the ps3 and they prove it with burnaout paradise

As a guess, I would suspect that they're far more willing to port PC games to the XBox 360 because the development environments for both systems are similar and they know they can achieve the type of performance they need to play these games well on the XBox 360.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

They are not being biased, ME was published by M$ on Xbox, so PS3 will probably get ME 2 as well, but it is not worth porting ME to PS3 now, they should concentrate on making 2

Also before anyone mentions it - Left 4 Dead is only being published by them for Console/PC retail release. Valve decides when and if that one gets ported.

Tease.
