This looks like a light-gun game in some screens. The graphics look really gray. I'll have faith in Monolith though. Let's see some videos.

That's not true.
I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced back at E306, not because it has the best graphics but because it's a different concept. I'd hope console owners hung up on graphics have either sold their Wii's by now or weren't stupid enough to buy one in the first place. The game looks nice to me and that's all that matters - proving the game play excels itself I'm not bothered if Nintendo, Capcom or anyone else made it.

So it looks like when Nintendo said there were no new game announcements for '08, they were referring to NA only (this statement was made around E3, I think). See Europe, somebody does love you. Love you for buying a million DSes and half a million Wiis month.

Not releasing Disaster in NA in 2008 would be a strange decision. Didn't they originally announce Disaster in 2006?
I'm more worried by the fact that the main character looks like a drunken fratboy with a tribal armband tattoo. Yeesh. Major put-off.
Also, The Conduit's going to be HUGE!
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
Acolyte of Disruption
I'll buy this game, in monolithsoft we trust!! Especially after baten kaitos. These guys wont let this game fail especially if they are a 2nd party publisher under nintendo now that nintendo has purchased the majority of them.
i'll wait to see more pics because this is not how it really looks, or how it look at the end.
Im more interested on gameplay and more info about the game.
03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:

I don't know if releasing Disaster with Gustav is a smart idea ...

I think the haters are missing somethings.
"It doesn't look good."
Yeah, it does. It doesn't look like an HD game but the design is a nice blend of standard "grey/brown" action with a hint of anime - hair styles, clothes. It uses some type of filter to give it that comic book look like Uncharted (but, of course, no where near as good. Uncharted is one of the best looking games IMO on any console)
"You don't know anything about the game play"
Yeah, we do. Third person, with pointer shooting/turning. Running, jumping, swimming, driving through disaster zones fighting bad ass, well designed terrorists.
Do first aid, defuse bombs, fix stuff.
Yes we haven't played it yet - but by that logic, then no one should ever get excited by any game they read a preview for.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
