For entire sound-track, I'll go with Chrono Cross
For a single track, nothing beats the Link To The Past Overworld theme. It just sets up the mood for one of the greatest adventures in gaming history

Dude, seriously. I havent heard a good track from them since FFX. Though, admittedly, I havent played any of the handheld games, but I highly doubt handheld games' soundtracks would merit a mention here.
