Guess alot of hearts will be broken if it does come as an ps3 exclusive.

Calling people "cheap asses" is insulting and therefore attacking other members. PS1 had many faults, being a console with a decent amount of failure rates when consoles before it had relatively none, graphics were horrid when console power actually meant something to how the game could play (now power just means you can just add some more bells and whistles), most of their ideas for the console were taken from Nintendo which is partially because the PS1 was orignally being developed by both Nintendo and Sony but vibration and analog sticks were slapped on after the N64 got them, and then the fact that there was a ton of shovelware cause devs knew they could make a quick buck on the ignorant consumers that had never gamed before and picked up a PS1. (I can go on if you want but you probably don't want me to) Sony promised a lot of developers funding or help for their products if they jumped ship from N64, they also bought dev teams, that's still money hatting just they didn't do it out in the open as much as MS has. |
OMG your reasons PS1 faults are rediculous. Every system has a certain amount of failure rate, everyone. The PS1's was miniscule at best, bring me proof that it was any more then a spec on the PS1's life and I will take this one into consideration.
So what if it was originally an attachement for NIN, thats there loss. They should have thought of that before they gave sony the SHAFT. Sony then out did them in every way. They also did not copy every little thing from them too, they simply took what worked and made it there own. Crash is a hibrid scroller, while mario is the original, they are nothing alike. PS1's graphics were better then the competition too, I dont even see why that part is even up for discussion. Anolog sticks and vibration, i dont remember a single NIN system controller I enjoyed holding more then a PS one.
Shovelware, PPbbbffft! Every console gets them, at least sony has the quality games to back them up. The ratio between shovel ware and quality games on the PS systems has always been a reasonable balance unlike other systems I know (coughWiicough).
And aiding a fleeing developer is NOT moneyhatting. Money hatting is forcing butt-tons of money upon a company that originally wanted to stay exclusive elsewhere. Moneyhatting is shoveling money down a developer's throat to not better YOUR sales as a company, but to HINDER the competion's sales (coughFFcough) because you dont want them cutting into something you held monopoly on for decades.
And calling someone cheap asses is not really an insult, at least not to me i geuss. If I offended someone by saying that I do apologize, was not my intent.

Wow. I'm not even going to reply more to you, forevercloud. You are far too clouded by your bias to even reason with.

I stopped reading there.
Educate yourself, before you decide to go on a overzealus long rant.

Sony has a strong relationship with Disney ....Blu Ray ,Singstar Along Disney, movie distribution business .....if they have managed to get an agreement with Disney SE may be forced to put it in exclusive for the PS3.
This is a game that could be a PS3 exclusive.

@1st Bold - FF and Metal Gear were originally Nintendo exclusives, so it's not like they can't jump again. @2nd & 3rd Bold - Don't attack members it's against the rules, we can all debate logically, and make real points. "Yes, some franchises jumped from NIN to Sony when the PS1 came around, yet the only one we still talk about today that jumped is FF. THe other ones are not that important. Sony had there own mess of exclusive games that they had ushered into the gaming world. Crash, Tomb Raider, etc started on PS1. THese games were awsome. Has no one but me noticed that once these games became multiplatform or left Sony that there quality deminished. This is very much true for all developers that have started with sony and dishonored themselves with multiplatness or abandonment. Sony ushers in great games everytime a new system comes around, this is an undebatable fact. The best franchises of today started or at least debued MAJOR success on there systems. To be anywhere else is to not aknowledge a game's full potential , in return simply not as good a game. I will never agree with the gaming generation that MS has ushered in. To the loud potty mouthed toddlers on Xbox Live, to the money hatting of games, to the bringing of standard multiplatform, none of these things bode well for gaming in general. I look for the bettering of my games, not for the cheapest route." @1st Bold - Metal Gear says hi! @2nd Bold - Most intellectual properties were sold for a profit, the buyers killed the brand @3rd Bold - it's very debateable I could tell you a good list of things that changed when Sony came in that wasn't good. @4th Bold - PS1 says hi as well, just like Sony did with N64... So honestly most of your arguments are based in ignorance but that doesn't excuse you of attacking members like Soriku. So please stop your arguments until you can read up on the actual argument you're trying to make. |
Metal Gear a Nintendo exclusive?When ?
It seems you are confounding MSX/MSX2 with the NES.The MSX was a japanese computer(manufactured between others by Sony !) with cartridge games that was where MGS actually started. The NES got a spin-off adventure of low quality based on the MGS universe that isnt even in MGS continuity anymore.
As for what you are talking about exclusives jumping to the Wii ....we have been hearing that for 2 years now and we dont see it.
FFXIII ,FFXIII Versus ,SO4 and others are scheduled for mid to end 2009 and early 2010...when is the shift going to happen ?In 2009 for games to be released end of 2010 or in 2011 just at the end of the Wii life and with the rival consoles having a large userbase of hardcore gamers instead of casual players?I pretty much doubt it.

Yeah! You guys get a new Hannah Montana game!
Just because you have Hannah Montana games, doesn't mean your getting your hands on KH3. I'm just waiting for KH3 to be announced for something other than the Wii.

You should be the one educating yourself. What forevercloud is saying is true. The PS1 came in 1994 when the battle for next generation was an absolute mess with the likes of the Atari Jaguar/CD ,Panasonic 3DO ,Commodore CD32 ,Philips CDI ,Sega Saturn ,Sega 32X , Nec HD-FX (substitute of the PC-Engine) all fighting it out for survival ...the PS1 was way beyond any of these machines in the technical deparments with the closer being the Saturn at a respectable difference(its lack of 3D hardware was a downturn). It was a magnific machine ,much more powerful that competing systems.Nintendo 64 came in 1996 ,two whole years later ....its obvious it had to have some advantages over it ,and it had effectively better graphic filters and some more processing power. But to be frank ,the difference between the two was quite small. The N64 had the edge on FPS and open world plattformers but the PS1 had the edge on nearly every other genre with the obvious benefits from CD technology in storage capacity for textures, music ,etc.
This thread is so ridiculous. Hahaha.
KH3 could go absolutely anywhere. DS, PSP, Wii, PS3 or the 360.
One things for sure though. Sony has a snowflakes chance on the Devils ass of getting KH3 exclusively. I've been saying from the beginning, the way this console cycle has played out so far, FFXIII would be the PS3's last exclusive game for them, so even that going to the 360 was a huge shock for me. They're not going to cannibalize potentially potentialling more the double the amount of says by "staying faithful" to the Sony friend.
