Xbox360 = 33% of rate failure =20 million current selling

PS3 = 0.2% of rate failure = 15.05 million current selling.

Xbox 360 = 33% X 20mill = 6.6 mill failed (+ current user bought the second one)

                = 20mill - 6.6 mill

                = 14.4 mill

PS3 = 0.2% X 15.05 mill = 31K

       = 15.05 mill - 31k

       = 14.973 mill

What say you guys??? Not a fanboy but a calculations...  No harm isn't it??...... . Correct me if i'm wrong.....

...except that refurbed or replaced consoles don't count toward the total, so you're wrong...

Also, the failure rate is down to around 10% now.

Lol. Welcome to VGChartz.

But I'm sure a very small percentage of people who've had their console fail just went out and bought a new one, especially before the advent of the three year warranty. But it'd prob only change current figures by, oh, 0.01%.

i need to know how many consoles were sold before they announce the warrnety and then take 33 out of every 100 consoles sold :D
