The wii has very few games that appeal to the HC masses hense they don't get much screen time. Rightfully so if you ask me. Nintendo needs to stop with this ridiculous casual market stuff and do something for those who actually like full games to play. The wii's best selling games are titles that are nothing but collages of mini games (Wii Sports, Wii Play,Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort?). It has a very abismal line up of games to come for the rest of it's life span that do not deal with something that is already established (Mario, Zelda, AnimCross, Wii Title collage of mini games). There games tend to not add anything new from one another either. |

Nintendos best selling games seems to be a mix of games that would appeal to the core gamer and mini game collections for the casuals. Don't let that get in the way of the conclusions you are jumping to though.

None of the games you listed appeal to the Harcore audience that much, mostly casual. They sell well to CASUAL players who just want a little something every now and then.
Now the other list given is pretty good. I have never seen majority of those games for Wii or simply have never heard of them at all. Some of those actually look to appeal to the HC audience such as myself but Nintendo doesnt seem to advertise these as they should. If I have heard of half of those games before maybe I would not be so utterly disgusted with the games the Wii currently has to offer.
When some of those great games are actually released maybe my opinion of the Wii can change, until then, I stand my ground.
