 Some people need to take reading comprehension.  Look at the second paragraph of your link and you'll see where they didn't rule out making a PC version.  Compare that to what Cliff said this time in which he says they've decided they're not making a PC version this time around.  How much more clear do the words need to be?

He also changed his preferred name from Cliffy B to Cliff Blezinsky...  He grew up.  Part of growing up is being more confident when you lie.

Good that he just came out and said it. However, in todays gaming world its hard to take anything by word alone. FFXIII will be a PS3 Exclusive......ha! Money speaks louder than words. This game is going to be epic and I have already reserved my copy, fo shizzzle.

If we're talking about clarity, Epic also didn't make Gears of War 1 for PC - it was outsourced, which doesn't go against what Cliff Bleszinski said: "Gears of War is a great franchise first and foremost for Xbox 360, and therefore we're focusing on that platform for Gears of War 2. We've decided we're not going to do a PC version this time around." - so they could outsource it again.

If Epic were to base their decision of porting GeoW2 to PC on the sales of the first game did on PC, then I'm sure they wouldn't port it since it didn't sell much. But ofcourse, that was a time when GFWL asked you to pay monthly fee for full experience. Now that GFWL is completely free, Microsoft could very well use GoW2 for promotion of the reborned free GFW... and no doubt it would sell more than the first.

But whatever.

They didn't do it last time around, so why would he say this, other than the fact that they had a hand in getting it ported to pc.  It is their IP after all.  It probably didn't sell very well on pc.  Just like CoD4 did better on 360, this one will too.  Might not be worth the development costs.

Also, those links were to someone trying to cover up the fact that M$ said the game would be coming to pc.  Has anyone important said the game was coming to pc that Cliff is trying to cover up?

Safe money remains that Gears 2 will show up on PC within a similar time frame as the original PC port.

At the very least, it does mean that PC port is not right around the corner, which many (including myself) had assumed.

That being said, it makes my decision to buy the 360 version a lot easier, as in final. I'm not waiting a year to play this on PC.

 Ok so let me get this straight.  You're using the logic that since another game by another company was announced as exclusive and then later the status changed it means that it will happen to Gears 2 as well?  By that logic I can basically claim every Wii and PS3 third party game that were announced exclusive are coming to the 360.  Pretty ridiculous right?

Also calling someone who is actually working on a game a liar is pretty ridiculous when you really have no idea if it's coming to PC or not.  Seriously I think fanboyism has made you throw logic out the window and I know if you look at this without any bias you'll agree.

Fanboyism? I'm buying a 360 next week. I've been talking about it for months.  I sold my PS3 because their were no games at the time.  I still think it is overpriced; but a good value if ou can afford it.
