$40M acccording to Famitsu but I don't think that was probably what was used for comparison to the PSP since it was considered an extreme I believe.

Grampy, you forgot about the 159 XBL titles.

If we counted them would we need to also include  WiiWare and Virtual Console games?

Let's add in the Downloadable PS1 titles on PSN lol... it'd inflate the PS3 so bad.

if the library size has a direct link with the user base, than sony commited a huge mistake by making ps3 so expensive and without massive Back compatibility. cause if that graphic shows anything, is the importance of a big installed base in the beginning of the gen. If MS was bold enough, they would have launched the x360 at a ridiculously low price as to garantee a huge installed base. Sony woudn´t stand a chance. The wii, on the other and, would garantee the same success at any case, I think. but this may be a lesson to next gen. Launch early, cheap, with BC and a reasonnable library.

PSP games dont cost up to 8 million... an averege PSP development costs roughly 500k$... and for the DS a little over 300k...

The only rumor I heard for high priced PSP game was the fact that CoO could have cost nearly 4 million but even that was a one day lasting rumor...
