Wow have a save function... brilliant... thank you for that link it brought up my ire about 20 more points... Wal-Mart doesn't have many points left on my card... I'll go in a break that damn mirror (South Park reference)

Seriously I've hated Wal-Mart before it was cool to hate Wal-Mart, now their PR makes it even easier, hey lets make a function that was put into games over 20 years ago... yay...

well PC games use both plastic and cardboard. Oh ya, who is wasteful now!

They do a lot actually, we recycle about 800lbs of cardboard a day.

Walmart could do their part by not having their gigantic stores feel like the inside of a freezer. Not that I mind on a hot summer day, but they shouldn't be the ones to talk.

I would say the chain is no less environmentally conscious then the next conglomerate. In fact I would probably say that conglomerates tend to be more ecologically sound, because they are held to much higher standards. Trust me I have worked for a small retailer, and they did things that would get Sam Walton burned at the stake. They were just dumb enough to send someone ignorant to the conference.

In regards to the comment about cardboard game cases. My answer is hell no. A game case exists for one reason and one reason only to protect said game. Something that can get wet, melt, and grow mold is not an acceptable substitute. Perhaps a better resolution would be smaller plastic cases.

I guess it's always the same big business' strategy: Make the consumer feel guilty. There are bigger preys to hunt before us in my opinion...!
