I am not a huge Futbol or Football fan, but I rent them every year.
Madden has more potential on Wii for play design and stuff like that - user created content.
notice, exactly what I say.
PES with the pointer was the most fun I ever had playing a SoccerFootball game.
If it works that good for Wii Ice Hockey, NES Ice Hockey might just be unseated.

NFL headcoach might, but madden isn't about creating your own plays, it's about useing your favorite team's playbook. The entire selling point of madden is that it's as close to the NFL as any game will get, if people wanted to make simple backyard plays (which is typically what happens since majority of people are fit to be offensive coordinators), then NFL street and blitz would still be going strong now. Regardless, there would be nothing in "play design" or "user content" that the 360 or PS3 wouldn't be able to do. The difference would be as small as making plays with an analog stick compared to a pointer.

It's not just about moving the analog stick. It's about being able to draw or point quickly on the screen as if you were the QB pointing on the field.
That being said, I don't think the motion translates that well for the actual game. There's no need to argue against things I never said. I get enough of that in that other thread. :P

EA introduced that in like 2003 (or before), it's called "playmaker". You take one of the analog sticks and point it in any direction and a reciever will break off from the play and run to that location while the linemen will block down the field for you in that direction, just like in the NFL.
I personally didn't like the mechanics of that feature, it almost seemed like too much work and was typically used only in a situation where the pocket is gone. I can't imagine how pesky it would be to have to aim on a specific location with a pointer on the screen while keeping an eye out for blitzes or interceptions. Either way, the only QB that can really take advantage of those out of pocket plays are Michael Vick.... and he's in prison.
