Looks beautiful. I am not so sure about the 240Hz thing though. I would really like to know if there is any difference you can see.

Nice all my TV's in the house are Sony they are the best
PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.
Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game
Xbox live:mywiferocks
I don't have an LCD or Plasma TV yet because I tend to procrastinate on buying technology that is developing quickly and gives me no immediate benefit. I think it will be interesting to see what is available in 2010 as an affordable ($1000 or less) TV ...
9.9mm...... wow. My 32inch 1080i LCD is like 50mm and I remember thinking that was thin...
Anyway, as far as the frame rate gos, 120hz is plenty, 240 is just marketing. there's really no use for it. Also, I don't think plasma will go away until OLEDs are the same price because no matter how you do it, plasmas will pretty much always have a better contrast ratio than a standard LCD screen.
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

Wow that's neat.
I don't understand the need for such flat screens if you have to have it on a stand though? but as a wall mounted TV.

| HanzoTheRazor said: Why would u buy these when u can buy a SONY Organic LED [OLeds] very soon that has a contrast of 1,000,000:1 [that's a wopping 333.33 x darker black levels!], refresh rate of .00001 milliseconds [absolutly no mation blur!], 10x more colours, very high peak brightness, uses MUCH less power [no back light], longer life, just as thin and contains no harmful mercurey? [when u see these LCD's will look very bland compared to OLeds!] If u buy a TV now with all these amazing new ones to hit at the end of this year and into next, IMO u would be nutz! Also to note, there is also LAZER tech comming... bye bye Plasma. |
Or perhaps... just perhaps, you would be doing it to save money, considering not many people will care about the black being "more black" when it means paying 2-3 times as much.
