If I was Sony, the last thing I would wanna do is "burn Valve."

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Pwned, or something.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I don't play much of the Valve games (except for Left 4 Dead when it comes out) but I hear they have a very huge loyal Fan Base.

Exactly... There are a lot of people that hold that company in high esteem, especially within the inner circles of the gaming community - reviewers, not to mention the millions of hardcore/core/mainstream gamers as well.

It would also help cool relations with 3rd party developers which is never a good long term strategy.

Valve are one out of only a few dev's who are a little arrogant but fully entitled to be. They are brilliant, just to sum up for anyone who didn't get it.
When HL2: Episode 3 comes out, I'll be in a fetal position and an AC (Anticipation Coma) until it lands in the mailbox!

What?!?! No 0 day steam for you? (You can download it before it comes out, it will activate at 12am I think.)

Haha I'll take these guys on myself!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

getting back at Valve? Valve employees sometimes setup events where they play their game against another company or just random people from the community. This is to suppose to be a fun thing Valve does, that promotes the point of their video game, to have fun and bring people together.

A better title would be sony and valve have fun together.

The revelation! Of course I'll buy it on Steam instead! Come to think of it; my DVD drive isn't even connected to the motherboard (IDE cables, no IDE on the motherboard... ).
