Forums - Nintendo - DS games with the best storylines?

I'm buying a DS and a bunch of games with it. I want to get games with good storylines where the narrative is the shining feature of the game. I already got the World Ends With You but I want some other games with good storylines to go along with it. Please don't mention the SquareEnix remakes because I do not consider the SNES era RPG's to have a high or near high standard of storytelling. I'm buying a bunch of games so just list any game you can think of with well developed storylines. Thanks.

New Super Mario Bros.

so far the games I played, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has a good story line in it...
Layton is good so far, I'm still playing it...

Professor Layton(never played it but heard the story, as well as the game as a whole, was really good)

I was going to say that. One of the best executed stories in a videogame. I've been telling Soriku the same a couple of weeks ago.

Yes. I'd even go as far as saying it has the most profound and intellectually stimulating ending of any work in any medium in modern history.

It is one of the most twisted storys I have played in a game but its so great!

I would suggest FF Tactics and also Mario and Luigi partners in time...

Former something....

So basically, you're saying the story in Layton is great, right?

Why are so many people giving ridiculous answers in this thread instead of taking the question seriously?

Didn't I just recommend you Professor Layton?
