i am not to hyped about this game yet.
It looks interesting, but I don't think it is the most important title for Sony. 2009's success will be measured by Killzone, God of War, Gran Turismo, and Final Fantasy. As good as Heavy Rain looks, I don't know if it will be a million seller.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
Heavy rain will be good but not most important ps3 exclusive title next year
maybe
GOD OF WAR 3 or
Hahaha what a tool! Heavy Rain will likely struggle to even reach 1 million sales, let alone be actually important.
As much as I love adventure genre, the truth is Sony's support for this game is very stupid. It's probably been years since an adventure game even reached 1 million on PC, so how do you figure it will sell million on one console with the lowest userbase?

If they market it right it may do well.
I have to say it does look good.
David Cage is probably the next Hideo Kojima. Heavy Rain looks better than any other PS3 game... it even Matches the Mighty Metal Gear Solid 4. if you didn't Played Farehnheit (a.k.a. Indigo Prophecy), you don't know what you're missing.

Someone please tell me why this game is so great, because I'd love to stop hating it.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

That's true. I really don't see how they can get to the expanded audience with a realistic looking horror movie type of game. This has 15-25 years old men writtenall over it. I can't blame them though because it must be about 85% of the PS3 userbase.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
