If u combine gamecube & wii sales for twilight princess it might outsell ocarina eventually.

I think it will, The combines sales of Twillight Princes are about 6 million, and by the time Zelda wii comes out there will be a bigger audience to buy it.

I think this would bring things full circle, Brawl will be the best selling smash, MKWii will be the best selling MK, WiiSports will be the best selling game ever (also in Japan). The only major IP that would be the best selling is SMG (3d marios), but Mario 64 did come out a time when that genre (3d platformers) was at it peak. Also, If they made a new DK 3d Plat I think it would have trouble outselling DK64.

 

This was confirmed by just about everyone at Nintendo after the debacle at E3. Nintendo was quick to point out they were making new "Core" games but that they would be far more accessible to casual gamers.

As for the topic, sure it'll sell more, hasnt nearly every old IP on the Wii outsold its contempories on the N64? That Im not sure about, but Im pretty sure its true.

Generally, the first on the console sells a lot better. While this doesn't tend to be so much the case with Nintendo's first party, it's still the situation.

 

Twilight Princess (Wii + GC) will probably stop at 500-1000K behind OoT. It might beat the original TLoZ.

Phantom Hourglass could probably edge itself up to 6M.

That would mean that the 2 latest Zeldas, have come in 2nd anc 4th place of all Zeldas.

Still, I don't believe Zelda Wii will beat OoT.

It will be a revolution (Miyamoto claimed so), and even if the fanbase accepts it, most revolutions in software do initially send more people away than it gains.

The new Zelda has been development quite time..
And Motion plus "dildo" upgrade will enchance the gameplay a lot. it will be the edge that helps the game to be even greater than OOT.

One the games that i expect a lot for using Motion plus+

Link as a transvestite would be fine. A new character would suck. Casualisation of Zelda would suck.

MP+ will take over the market in 5 min, yes it will outsell OoT
