Dragonforce is a joke band. I don't think they are meant to be taken seriously by critics. They do have their sound tho so props to them. With that said, I can't listen to more than 2 of their songs stright.

Dragon Force the game is great. A little dated for todays standard, but still looks nice (since its 2D and saturn was king of 2D). Worth playing.

I have a modded saturn with every game ever released, I think ima dust that thing off and play some radient silvergun when i get home.

Somehow, I just knew this topic would involve about as much discussion of the band as of the game...

Dragon Force is a great Saturn game. I played that game a lot back in 90's. Too bad my old Saturn bit the dust awhile back :( Though, I just bought a Japanese Saturn, so now I need to re-buy the game as my original game was the USA version. Planning on picking up DF2 as well :D

I was thinking about picking it up, but I'd rather have the Saturn version :D

Sega would make a lot of money porting their Saturn and Dreamcast games to the DS and PSP respectively. Phantasy Star Portable showed that having a port of Phantasy Star Online would sell well. And having all those classic Saturn games, especially localized ones that weren't on the US Saturn, would get my money.
