Not only that, but let's remember this. Which was better, DMC 1 or 2, and which was better, DMC 2 or 3?

Do you think it would be fair to assume that The Conduit would be a better game than Killzone 2 then?

One of the better ways to predict how good a game will be is to look at the track record of the developer ... We know that Gears of War was an excellent game developed under the challenges that the curent generation consoles provide, while Killzone was an 'average' game that struggled under the challenges that the previous generation consoles provided.

Dude...I LOVE DMC 1 & 2 but hated the 3rd one.  I know I'm the minority but its my honest opinion.

I think GoW 2

gears of war online is so laggy you could be number one in the world just by having a better connection than everyone else. im gonna say kz2, because i always get pissed off about all the rediculous amounts of lag in gears of war multiplayer.

Gears2 is pretty much gears1 online but with Horde and and chainsaw battles. The first ones online play was so lacking its disturbing, cliffyb in interviews has talked about how they will not be changing anything. KZ2 just takes the online so much farther then Epic could ever dream to take their busted Unreal engine games.

I guess gameplay is all up to the each person, FPS or TPS, each game appears to do great at their respective genres.

I know Killzone2 will have 11 levels and each one lasting about 45 to 60 minutes. I'm not sure what gears2 will be bringing. The overall feel and immersion in the game goes to killzone2 easily.

Having played on neither game, i can safely say i think Killzone 2 will be better.

If i had played on both, id probably say Gears.

How strange

If we judge by the prequels; GeoW2 by a mile. However, this does not work, no matter how much we try to apply this logic to it and I truly believe that KZ2 will be a very good game.
I really can't tell you which I think will be better and that is the truth.

Gears easily. Remember KZ1 sucked plus playing a FPS with a PS controller sucks.
