I think I'm not buying anything using SecuROM so I guess I'm not buying Spore either. Even if it didn't have SecuROM, it'd take a lot for me to buy the game because it's EA and we don't know how the gameplay works yet. It's a promising title though.

I'll buy it when I get a new graphics card.

you can run Spore on integrated GPUs, so you probably don't really need a new graphics card to play it.

well that yougamers.com thing says my computer could run it, but I'm not really sure how well. Considering that I had to turn the graphics down even to use the creature creator I'm unsure of it's ability to play the full game well.

I will say this even though it pains me to admit that I rely on other people's opinions: It will depend on the reviews. Stellar reviews, I will get it sooner or later. Dissapointed reviews, I will stay away.

Every time I think about all the games coming in September, my wallet cries. Then I remember all the games I haven't managed to get yet, and my wallet crawls closer to the edge of my apartments roof, ready to jump...

In other words, yes, I will get it. Probably day 1.

Laptop versions of these chipsets may work, but may run comparatively slowly.
