Cant wait to pick this up tomorrow and have a nice 3 day weekend coming up to play it. I was still on the fence for picking this up right away but the Gamespot video review was a real a clincher. Looks great!

I think I'll have to wait for Friday for it to arrive. Does anyone have the strategy guide? I might have to buy it.

I don't need your console war.

Tales of Vesperia or Tales of Symphonia? Which is the better game? I want to know how this game compares to the Wii game as a whole.

I never played any of the Tales games(atleast not until now anyway) but from what I can gather from the general opinions of fans of the series, I would have to say Tales of Vesperia is the better game.

The original Symphonia based on the review system is better than vesperia, but Symphonia 2 most likely is not, I only say this because Vesperia is handled by main team and if I am not mistaken Symphonia 2 isn't.

Either way both games will rule.

From what I can gather about reviews vs. actual game content, it goes:

Symphonia>Abyss>Vesperia

With Vesperia being the best Tales game, ever. However, review wise, Symphonia is better (thus far), because it did so much to bring the series to a new level - while Abyss and Vesperia have polished, and perfected that system.

Having said all of this...Why is it that they say it's the best Tales game to date, and give it low 80's scores? If this game had Square Enix on the box, it'd get another 5pts.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Oh, and for those keeping track: With the Gamespot review, ToV now has a 83.4% composite ranking from Gamerankings with 5 reviews.

That puts it well above any other JRPG currently in release, by a comfortable margin. I wonder if it'll stay above 83%?

The Wii game is Tales of Symphonia 2. I don't think anyone has played either game, yet, on this forum, and we don't have reviews for ToS2.

No way, still got a few sites that'll flame it for lack of innovation. Edge, Eurogamer, ect.

Best RPG on the 360 according to some of those reviews, interesting.

The reviews are higher then I thought they would be and it looks like it will have a better average then Lost Odyssey.

I hope it does but I have a feeling it will get pushed down to a 80 from a few low reviews...

Former something....
