Port them to the DS. Remake would probably just damage their awesomeness.

If a remake comes at the cost of a new Zelda game not being made, then no. If it's in addition to new Zelda games, then I don't care. I didn't like TP that much because it wasn't a new experience, and I doubt a remake of AlttP would feel very fresh.

the only games that warrant a remake are games that were not out in all territories.... like the DQ games.
For the FF, I'm sure they are good and all but since I had access to them in US form i do not care much for them, they are good for the EU market though. ( I do think that SNES graphics had a definite charm that is lost in the transition).
Zelda remakes would be pointless as for one, it's been pointed that they are already in some ways remakes of each other, and also they are on the virtual console so no chance of that happening. DS OOT could do it sure...but i doubt it would work too well.

Wait actually after thinking even more about it. A remake on Wiiware, or DS of Alltp that still keeps the overhead view but with 3d, and Wii/DS controls sounds pretty awesome. I would love that. I hope it happens, but I don't think there is much of a chance.

They might do something about N64 games coming to the DS which is similar to SNES games coming to GBA... so I would bet an Ocarina remake to come to the DS soon... maybe =/.. I would want either game though.

The only Zelda i would ever want remade would be the first or second.

DS remake of Link's Awakening, with graphics at least as good as Link to the Past, Minish Cap, and Phantom Hourglass, and throw in some multiplayer minigames and maybe an extra dungeon, blah blah blah, like Squeenix did with the GBA Final Fantasy 1&2: Dawn of Souls.

That's the only Zelda that needs to be remade.

Also they already did a port/remake of LTTP last gen. It was called 4 Swords Adventure... am I the only one who saw but never got around to buying that?

I think remaking those games would be pretty useless. Especially when the originals are available on Virtual Console for relatively cheap.

It's not a coincidence that Square hasn't released FF4 and FF6 on VC, they couldn't charge full price for their remakes if the originals were easily available to everyone with a Wii.
