Of course, what we're all really waiting for is Costa Rican data. Somebody has got to have the goods, so stop holding out on us.
Oh, and throw in Moldova, if you can find it.

Nintendo and MS are only really doing well in UK, France, and to some extent Germany, the largest European markets. I think that since they never really made any inroads there before, they're focusing on the larger markets first before moving on to the smaller ones. PS2 was widely successful all over Europe so the PS3 was easy to push in all the smaller markets as well. It's those same markets where the PSP is still selling toe-to-toe with the DS, too. It's the one area of the world where the success of the PS2 actually gives Sony a clear-cut advantage with the PSP/PS3.

I would like to know if Ioi is including the Portual numbers to the Spain ones (as Sony Europe president Reeves did one month ago ) or if he adds it to the "others Europe " data .
In any case very good for PS3 in Portugal .Wii isnt doing too strong there and X360 presence there is anecdotical at best .Its curious but is more or less the same as my country but exxagerated .Wii must be selling ok in Spain but it is easily available in the stores since first days of march .Yesterday I was in a big selling surface in videogames section and they had a wall of Wiis there ...and the Wii software was almost cached .

Well it's great how this news was welcomed.
If this was Portugal = Wii winning there would be a lot of back patting going on in here to say the least.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
Diomedes, you rly love to repeat that Wiis are everywhere in Spain dont you?
If you discount the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Scandinavia the PS3 is doing pretty well in Europe ...
In other words if you only look at 10% of the European market the PS3's sales look pretty good ...

I think this news is being taken lightly, because (in the grand scheme of things) Portugal doesn't matter. (Sorry any Portugese here).
I don't know what you want us to say...if the Wii was selling like hotcakes in Portugal, it wouldn't really be a big deal, it sells like hotcakes everywhere...I don't see why PS3s selling well there matters...do you want us to be excited that the PS3 is doing great in this one country, even though it's not elsewhere?

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
