I was able to get my hands on a secondhand 60gig ps3($200...not bad). After running the system for a few minutes I noticed it was extremely hot. Hotter than my Summer 07 made 360. Is  normal for it to be really hot out of the back?



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

ya i think mine does to is ur fan kinda loud
that may mean it over heated
make sure if the system glitvches and is taking for ever to turn off dont turn it off manually or ur bluray drive will mess up and cost u 150 happened to me and it sucks two weeks not ps3 is hard

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

Yeah, they can run hot. As long as it is ventilated you should be fine though.

I dont notice any abnormal fan useage,

ps3s are hotter than 360s. so, unless youve actually burned yourself, its probably fine.

Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

On a serious note, do you mean the fan is blowing out really hot air? Is your fan loud all the time no matter what you're doing? Typically, if you're not running a disc or playing a game and you're just on the PSN store or something, the fan should barely make any noise and not be spewing out very hot air. When gaming, after a couple minutes the fan will probably kick into high gear and get pretty hot.
