They have "sources" by FI the NFS source, is just a statement made by someone. The person who made the statement didn't have any sources.

 Like everyone else I have no idea where there numbers came from (the actual article lists over 100 refrences, I have no desire to confirm them), but for this type of data (ie sales data going back decades) vgc explicitly states that the data is missing, incomplete and/or wrong.

 

So you can trust a source that claims to be right, or you can trust a source that admits its wrong (or I suppose trust no one at all).

I'm sorry am I missing something. You got tired of seeing incorrect numbers so you used numbers from Wikipedia. I have to be missing something because this is funny right. Sardonic topic eh.
