timed exclusive mabey but its just a rumour, game looks cool though

Sometimes I just hate Sony. Their timed exclusives are never the games I want.
Considering it is a timed exclusive, which is not sure.

So what? I will wait and so will others, not like allot of people are going too run out and buy a PS3 for one game that hasn’t proven its name on the market yet. Pointless move!!

EA recently stated that they were moving to the PS3 as their lead dev platform. This is probably nothing more than an on-time release for the PS3, given that it'll be done way before a port to the 360/PC will be.

What's cool about this, for Sony fans, is that by leading on the PS3, the PS3 version will likely be at least a tad better than the X360 version, although perhaps not as good as the PC version on some high-end PCs. Multi-core PCs might really shine with PS3 developed games.

I'm sure it'll be pretty darned good on the X360 as well, in any case.  And honestly, the X360 version will likely benefit by being a "deluxe" version or somesuch, with additional content for free.  Late PS3 buyers will probably benefit from the same.

Think about the consumer who owns both a PS3 and a 360. Are they going to wait 6 months to get the 360 version when the PS3 version is already on the shelves?

Think about the person who doesn't own a HD console yet and simply sees Mirror's Edge on the shelf for the PS3 but can't spot a 360 or PC version anywhere. I could see that swaying their decision.

As a 360 owner obviously it's not going to affect you overly much, you're not really the consumer being targeted with this move. There may however be a few 360 owners who are simply tired of some games taking so long to reach the 360, it could also sway their decision towards purchasing a PS3.

Yeah... that's the way I see it.

Dallinor I don't think Mirror's Edge is a system seller, the screens like cool but the gameplay from the trailers makes it seem like another EA game.
