Goes to show how much video games mean to Microsoft.

They start a $10 million campaign for Halo 3 and the Xbox 360 and everyone is like ZOMG!!!!!

Then there is a $300 million campaign for Vista.

What's the deal with Jerry Seinfeld doing commercials with Bill Gates? (sorry, I couldn't resist)

Seinfeld is one of the most clever and well-written television shows in YEARS, and there is a reason why TV Guide ranked it as the number one show of all time. You are welcome to disagree, but it is more likely you just don't understand what the show actually stands for.

It's fine if you like it my only valid argument is... just because the majority says something doesn't mean it's right. Look that majority voted for Bush the second time... Is it possible that it really stood for nothing as they said and everybody rating it over analyzed it?

and that tvguide ranking thing that was linked to was only the opinions of several editors of that magazine.. while i love the show, it doesn't mean everyone should.. comparing it to bush however, thats not fair.. seinfeld didn't have a rich daddy to pay his way to start and be successful in his tv series

Yep. Am getting a Mac.....

In my opinion, Kelsey Grammar might've been a better choice(Frasier lives in Seattle)
They might even show Jason Alexander as a disgruntled Leopard user(thatd be something)

If the "MS Ad Campaign is to Feature Jerry Seinfeld," then it has already failed.

You're right. It should feature Cosby.

"Come on, kids... there's always room for Vista!"

That would be one amusing ad...

Comedy sells as well or probably better then sex, athletics, music, or straight talk. This could work if they pay for the comedian and not for the face. Jerry needs to only spin some memorable good jokes. That people will take to work the next day and tell their friends. These are the kind of commercials people enjoy to watch so you already get their undivided attention, and that is always a good thing in advertising.

Kelsey would also have been a good choice. I enjoyed watching Frasier, and Kelsey excels at portraying the pretentious, cosmopolitan man.
