lookin at some japanese sells figures. hmmmm, I wonder how the wii is doing....

4. wii fit, seems right
6. mario kart, yeah
11. wario land, of course
12. wii sports, yep
23. fatal frame 4, cool
24. super mario stadium, makes sense
26. wii play, again, so surprise

.... wait a second..... fatal frame 4 at 23.... and it's in its third week of sales. it didn't fall into the abyss after it's second week?

.... already the 41st highest selling game on the wii in japan? awesome.

Interesting how there's virtually no drop between week 2 & week 3 (11,671 to 11,475).  If it can pull similar numbers next week, I can see this game going significantly higher than the previous Fatal Frames.  It's almost like attaching the Nintendo name on a game gives it long legs...

In Japan, it already outsold the other Fatal Frames. In 3 weeks.

Oh, really?  I was just going by this thread, which says otherwise: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=31276

Anyway, I guess what I should've said was it'd sell significantly higher than everyone predicted it would.  However, I realized Japan seems to have had a holiday boost, so I'd take that back.  Next week's sales should be more telling.
