Well the Fire Emblem games are top notch and a must have for Tactical RPG.
If yu like the genre I would also recomend Hoshigami Remix. I just got it at Amazon new for $15. Its very similar to FFTactics for look and feel, I haven't played much at all yet, need to recharge battery, but it looks like its different enough gameplay wise that it wont feel like FFT ripoff. Final Fantasy III was pretty great and I'm sure IV is too.

2009 psp line for me is overall looking better than the DS.

merely due dissidia, agito, and birth by sleep and crisis core.

No matter how good a game is, there will always people that dislike it.

No matter how bad a game is, there will always be people that like it.

So, a negative review is a good thing (when he does one). People get both sides of the view and then decide.

As for FFTA2, be warn that the pace is very slow. It's good to play for a few battles and then switch games, that way, it doesn't bore the hell out of you :)

And I'm a firm believer that quantity + quality is better than just quality. Another reason why I think the DS stomps the PSP RPG lineup.To each his own though, but before you recommend people platforms to play RPGs on, why not include the disclaimer that you only consider games that are created by Square as games that count? Many of us enjoy RPGs becauseof the genre, not because of the publisher releasing them.

Also Dissidia isn't an RPG. I don't know why you're including it.

Currently the DS is better in the RPG department and for the near future, that is not to say psp lacks rpgs. PSP will get some gems this generation in the RPG department, and as an mod can I recommend not making DS verses PSP threads, it only causes flames between two crowds.

Also as a true RPG fan, just like said above, Square isn't the only RPG company.
