God of war 3 i think i will still get it.

GoW 2 came out very, very late in the cycle. Games that come out at the end of a life cycle have a lot of competition from games that are very good and very cheap - and lose hype because of the next gen stuff on the net.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Out of all of the games that fell victim to this, GoW2 unsuprisingly suffered the least

well GOW2 came out when the PS2 was dying,and CoO is on a hand held where software barely sells,i think GOW3 will do very good

the title is very miss leading.

GoW 1 sells 3.2 million = success
GoW 2 sells 2.2 million after the 3 major next gen systems launched = success
GoW: CoO sells 1.1 million on the psp where people don't buy games (23 million+ sellers compared to 53 on the DS) = success

I'm sure 3 will sell GoW 2 type numbers.

Riachu yes.  Obliterator yes, also but they didn't have a choice plus a same console sequal is cheaper than a first game.

Remember this when I someone thinks I'm anti-Sony.
