Fanboys need to stop crying. The whole boycott phase was done several months ago. Now it's just getting tired and boring.

Anyways, I'm actually thinking of making this a purchase. The detail on the fur of these primates is actually semi-impressive, which means Ubisoft is at least putting SOME effort into this game. Plus, I love monkeys. How can you hate a game with such adorable little guys in them? I just want to hug them!

Actually, those both use the balance board -- which shows Ubisoft is trying. And the snowboarding game is built from the ground-up for the Wii. (I will admit that RRR is starting to wear thin).

Interesting thing is that while people here complain, Ubisoft games (mostly) move. They are selling, somewhat successfully, to a different niche. Heck, I almost bought My Word Coach tonight (luckily, it was a used copy, open, and I read the directions while standing in line).

As for the OP -- this game could be interesting ... or could bomb. But at least it is different and not derrivative. The PS3 nor Xbox 360 have Monkey Sims. At this has to be better than Chimp for President.

Anyway, the detail on the fur reminds me of the queen bee in mario galaxy and I hope it's an early build because the textures on everything else looks like garbage.

Yes, funny.  But honestly I don't see what's so bad about this.  At least they are building on their animal franchises, making them more rich with detail.
