I was just browsing WiiWare and noticed the game. By the operations manual it looked fun, but any opinions from people who have played it?

I haven't played it, but you have it the wrong way around. It's actually Homestar Runner's Strong Bad. Actually, it's Homestar Runner's "Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People".
But the episode name is 'Homestar Ruiner'.
I played it, it's pretty fun. Beat it in like 3-4 hours. If you like the series it's a good buy. If you don't, buy it if you have 10$ and like adventure games.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

Yea it has it's funny parts, but figuring out what to do is annoying.
If you like that kind of humor it's good, there's nothing bad about the game, would I reccomend it - yes, but it's not for everyone.
As a game, it's job is to make you laugh - so you need a sense of humor as many jokes are verbal or visual ques. Like kicking The Cheat into the dryer many many many times.
"Hey whats that over there!?"
"Hmm..."
"No I'm not lying this time it's coming from the wall!"
"Hmm?"

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:
@Showertea: Actually i haven't even heard of Strong Bad before the game was announced, and took it as shovelware by default, but the game looked really fun.
Does it have any "sidequest" type of things/bonuses to find etc?
@Kitchensink: Like Showertea said, it's Episode 1: Homestar Ru{b}i{/b]ner.

i'm a few hours in...i think i'm pretty close to the end (stupid heavy lourde).
if your a big fan of of homestarrunner.com you'll probably like it. the puzzles to be solved are pretty easy and obvious for the most part. there are a few minor glitches i've run into which kinda sucks. but it's a nice looking game with lots of humor.
overall i enjoyed my purchase but mostly cause there's a bit of a lull in game releases atm. i'm not sure i'll buy episodes 2-5 considering the upcoming releases of games like samba de amigo, fable2, de blob, megaman 9, warioland, GH:WT, banjo, ect are likely to keep me too busy.

Hmm, sounds awesome to me.
Does anyone know how many episodes there's supposed to be? $10 doesn't sound bad now, but if there or six or seven episodes... well that adds up. And I know once I start I won't be able to stop.
Edit: Hmm, five isn't too bad.

if you haven't heard of strong bad before i definetly don't recommend this. reference humor isn't funny if you don't get the reference. you'll be all like "wtf's a trogdor?!?" and your head will exploed.
I'd give it a 7.8. I know the Chapman Bros. can write funnier content than there was in this game, and the puzzles were mostly on the simple side. The game itself felt a little bit buggy and unpolished, so I'm hoping future releases from Telltale will be tighter.
There are special collectibles and challenges to accomplish. I haven't gone about completing them yet because I'm waiting for them to patch the game-crashing Coach Z bug.
I don't regret buying the game, but I feel it failed to live up to its potential. Perhaps future episodes will be more impressive.

Has anyone played Sam & Max?? Would it be better to wait for that instead ?(I'm not an existing fan of Homestarr)
Anyone know what Sam & Max will retail for anyway?
