Well i went up town yesterday to buy my niece a Nintendo DS. anyway when i was in the game shop i noticed the prices of the Wii, 360 were lower then expected

Wii= 150 pounds

360=150 pounds 179 pounds 230 pounds

i dont know whats going on but thats what they were selling them for in GAME or GAMESTATION cant really remember the name o fthe shop. i didnt check all of town like, just the one shop to get the DS because i was in a rush, but i found it interesting non the less.

wow Xbox and Wii are the same price now in the UK. Well according to this store.

In Finland, there were Wiis for 249€ a year ago, when one retail chain started to sell Wiis (normal price is 269€). So if it is the certain stores promotional campain to get customers. Anyway, pick one up for yourself while you still get one cheaper.

i know. the 360 has been cheaper then the Wii for some time round here. i always had the impression though that the Wii was like 200.

must be a sale on or something, but the Wii sells lots so i dont think it that, probably trying to keep the sales up throughout the summer months

I did not think there would be instore discounts, but amazon have been offering the Xbox (and PS3) cheaper than RRP for some time

But then most online places do. Play.com are, but they are keeping Wii at it's RRP.

Even if 360 is that price, it's not selling almighty high above the PS3 which is nigh on twice the price of the lowest price 360 and £50 in most places more then the Elite.

its prob just a store thing, the RRP of the wii wont drop until supply stops being so high, which i reckon wont be until next summer

In Sweden they are almost the same price too. Someplaces you can even get Wii+360 Premium at the same price as Ps3.
