I am, but can't get it right now, due to a lack of PS3.

Damn straight I am, I even got my fellow reviewer Bladeneo to get the game as well. I'm a good influence on him ^^

I actually missed some of the recent ones...ok all of the recent ones, but I really have been interested in a hardcore strategy RPG for some time now. Disgaea really looks decidedly awesome in a lot of ways, kind of bringing things back to the tactics Ogre/ Final Fantasy Tactics days where there was HUGE amounts of customization and hundreds of hours of play.

The hardcore Atlus style RPGs have always been the PS systems strong suit and I hope that continues. Games like Persona and Disgaea are why I'm not torn up about losing a few Tri Ace games to the 360. I would rather play one Atlus game then 100 Bandai Namco cheesefests.

To anyone who hasn't played Persona 3 yet btw, go get it, now, I know you all have PS2s. If you like RPGs at all its just incredibly awesome, I would go as far to say the best PS2 RPG overall (though obviously FF edges it on graphics). Get the FES version for the added content (I actually bought it twice myself, weirdo that I am, once normal and then once more when the FES version with a completely new 50 hour addition came out.)

I'm not really sure, Valkyria looks much better, but then again there is a shortage of RPG's these days.

The EU date hasn't been announced yet, so I still have time to decide.

I may have gotten a fellow UK member on this site to import it. :)

I pre-ordered just to ensure I get my Soundtrack. I can't get enough of the comical genius that is Disgaea.

I can't get enough of Disgaea's 2D sprites. Just plain awesome!!!

I will get Valkyria as well, but can't turn down Disgaea for 2 main reasons.

#1 - Game is full of comedy, it is hard to play it and not smile.

#2 - Grinding to that fabled lvl 9999 (maybe 99999 in this game, not sure) has never been so much fun, I lost 250+ hours of my life to the original and adding to it now as I am playing it again on PSP. Not to mention leveling my weapons, armor, finding Legendaries of each, created new members/monsters. Just so much to do.

Did I mention it is $49.99 instead of $59.99? :)

If you are reading this thread and own a PS3, you should buy Disgaea 3.
