Forums - Nintendo - Yes, I now have a Wii.

Everybody gets Wiis cause they are kiddy toys and kiddy systems. They are for casuals. j/k

Congragulations on jumping with the Wii. It's my 1st time buying a Nintendo console and I'm loving it almost as much as my Ps1 already! (though it has a looooooong way to go till I love it as much as the Ps2 or Nes for that matter.)

Slimeattack, in your sig, before, you said you were and Ps3 AND a Wii owner. Were you just full of shit at the time or trying to get attention?

Tales of Symphonia. For the GC. Buy now. Then buy the Wii sequel when it's out.

If you read my game collection thread (linked in the second paragraph here), you would know I already have Symphonia.

Well, with 3,900 of them, Of course I skimmed 95 percent of them.

It's nice to know I'm not the only person who supports a console that he doesn't own.

Well it's part that, part just trying not to be a fanboy dick, and part attacking fanboy dickery whenever I see it. I just don't see enough against the other systems to satisfy me. I may be a masocist for that.

Get Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros for multiplayer.

Well those would likely be when my sister wants them, since we like to play Melee and Double Dash together.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Get - Zelda: Twilight Princess
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Galaxy
No More Heroes
WiiWare

Those are the best of the best in my book.

Be sure to check out Nintendo Channel for info on games you may like.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

@ Soriku

I saw BK: O at Gamestop and didn't buy it.

Congrats on your Wii dude, No More Heroes is reason enough for owning one.

Have it on the Gamecube. Don't see the need to buy it again until the price goes down.

Mario Kart Wii
Mario Galaxy

Waiting on both of those.

No More Heroes

Already bout it. See the last part of the OP.

WiiWare

Need wireless router first. We're looking into those.

Wii Tennis local mutiplayer is the real deal of WiiSports. Absolute fantastic if you have a worthy opponent.

BTW, I do realize the system was made for widescreen, I just want them to cost less than $600 if I want a decent size.

Glad you're enjoying your Wii so far. Keep the Metroid and No More Heroes spirit alive!

Oh, and if you enjoyed Twilight Princess, you'll probably love Okami. Of course, seeing that you own the PS2, you might own it already...
