i put my preorder in this morning on Amazon. this one's hard to pass up. i've never played the Banjo series, but it looks like a solid franchise, so i couldn't resist.

You've made a good choice... the Banjo games are 2 of the best platformers ever with their own unique style and sense of humor.  While the jury is still out on Nuts and Bolts, it should still be a solid game nontheless, plus you'll be in for a real treat once you download the original
