but there is also a thing called review standards. PC games are reviewed MUCH harsher then console games. A PC shooter getting a 7/10 is basically like a console shooter pulling off a 10/10.

There is a major difference between quality for a piece of prioritized electronics like a game console and a computer. PC software can make a profit without selling 1 million copies but a console game like MGS4 which doesnt come close to crysis's graphics takes over a million sold to pull a profit.

Quality over Quantity when comparing PC vs Console starcraft even in sales. Only highest quality or cheapest costing innovative games sell on PC, the opposite is normally true for consoles (see all the Petz titles on the DS).

This is why I stand by saying

1. Half-Life 2

2. Crysis or TF2 (ill add that)

3. BF2, UT3, or CSS

nearly 2 million copies sucks? not even half the games released on consoles make it to a million.

I've only played:
The shooting game in Carnival Games, the shooting game in Wii Play, the shooting parts of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Link's Crossbow Training, House of Dead 2 & 3, Ghost Squad, Resident Evil UC, and Terror Target

Out of those 8 games

1. Link's Crossbow Training- very fun, lots of different styles, very cheap
2. Wii Play- brings back good memories of Duck Hunt, great 2-player experince
3. Terror Target- very funny

 Well 2 million is more than i tought it sold...but nevertheless 2 mil versus -

1. Call of Duty 4 6.32 Million Xbox360 and 3.49 Million PS3 (9.81 Million)
2. Halo 3 - 8.13 Million, Xbox360 exclusive
3. Gears of War 5.2 Million Xbox360 semixclusive

How is it number 2 on your list?

Gears 1 sucks really hard.

As Squilliam said, its based on sales. Out of those pc games only half-life 2 and css would have sold enough to be on that list (css mainly because it was originally bundled with hl2). Im a big advocate of pc games but crysis just isn't in the same league in regards to sales.

Cod 5 wont sell as much as cod 4 did imo. R2 and kz2 will sell well but they wont sell enough to be on that list either. Cod 4 and halo 3's positions are secure in my opinion. Both gears 2 and cod 5 have a shot at entering the list though.

I would be not surprised if COD5 will sell most on Wii. Halo3 was bundled with the Xbox in a lot of countries, otherwise the sales figures would be much smaller.

I think "The Conduit" could sell a large amount.
