Forums - Microsoft - Too Human Discounted?

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3245205

For those of you who like their games discounted before it even comes out, heres your chance to pick up a copy of Too Human.

I'm not sure if its discounted to ignite sales or a typo by the website but its $49.99 and go save yourself $10.

with all the reviews they killed 10 dollars from it? a guess

do other places have it listed for more than that?

"I like my steaks how i like my women.  Bloody and all over my face"

"Its like sex, but with a winner!"

i think the poor reviews have caused this

TRU is also running a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off on all 360 games this week, plus a 10$ dollar discount on Too Human.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

If it's because of the reviews I think it does go to show that reviews matter for "hardcore" titles like Too Human, it might also be the fact of how hyped of a game it is.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

Well, this isn't the first 360 title that was discounted before release, since atleast Halo 3 was too.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Its not uncommon for major retailers to take $10 off the regular MSRP of a game in it's debut week, or sometimes offer a $10 giftcard with purchase in an effort to increase sales.

But if there's a lack of sales as well as bad press for major releases, then major retailers will drop the price of games pretty quick in an effort to clear some shelf space... see Haze, which was selling for $39.99 just a couple weeks after its release at most retailers. Check back in a couple of weeks and see if Too Human is still going for full price at most retailers... I think it won't be.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
