I went to see the movie on Sunday... A total Flop.  Less the 15 people in the Cinema's and it only JUST came out! We where in the V-max Cinema too, (Really, REALLY big).  I'm thinking they where expecting this to be huge and it became a total flop.

Very much targeted at Kids.  Skywalker is called SkyGuy????

Well My thought is now wondering if this will translate into the Game sales?  With the cinemas litterally being empty, and because no one really wants to go see it, will not many want the game?

IF, the Force Unleashed on Wii Sells really really well, I wont care too much if Clone Wars on Wii Bombs.  It might give some puplishers a kick in the arse that Multiplat Core games Like Force Unleashed Sell but Crappy Casual Targeted games don't.

What do you all think of this game?  Personally the Movie was so crap that I am no longer interested in the slightest about this game.

It's true that movie=/=game however All games relating to movies are usually REALLY HUGE Movies.

I never thought the clones wars would be this sad. Even the Cinemas thought this was going to be big. The Weekend it's out, less then 15 people went to see it in the one session... that speaks volumes about how popluar or lack of this is.

Just goes to show that even slapping "Star Wars" On the movie is not going to make it an instant and mega success. Hence my thought about the game and its sales.

I could care less if it flops. It probably will.

Mainstream title coming out during the holidays. Got to be joking haha. May not make it platinum but should sell well.

Well it's a supposedly 'Mainstream Movie' yet it has Flopped Massively. So Is it really a Mainstream Title?

The movie did what it was intended to do: be an opener for the animated Clone Wars series. Other than that, I think I should have waited for the DVD. Btw, TFU will sell way more than the Clone Wars and the bad movie reviews do not help the game in terms of sales.

@ Halo, That's what I am thinking - Bad movie reviews/attendance might traslate into bad Game sales.

Can someone tell me anyway, is this game targeted at the core or casual? To me it seems to be casual.

Also, what would you consider to be a flop for this game? I Think, because of it's 'Star Wars' Branding, anything under 500K WW is a total flop. And I think it wont even reach that. -But then again, I could be totally wrong and it smashes records... LOL

Read the interview on IGN, the Clone Wars game is basically a multiplayer lightsaber battle game, that's the whole focus, so it's not really trying to be like most movie games that are *stereotype time* action games that follow the story exactly and last just about as long as the movie itself from start to finish with very few side missions.

It's looking to be its own game and could sell MUCH better then the Movie does if it's good enough.
